art and words dedicated to the children of Palestine

Letters for Palestinian childhoods

is an online and in-person travelling exhibition of letters, poems, and artwork dedicated to the children of Palestine.

It aims to counter dehumanising narratives about Palestinians, showing solidarity by attending to the names, stories, experiences, dreams, and struggles of Palestinian children and the actions of the Western-backed Israeli state which are so violently shaping their lives.

Hola querido/a niño/as palestinos/a

Hello dear Palestinian boy, Palestinian girl

I am very sorry for what is happening to you, I can’t do anything because I am just another child. From here I send you my support and keep going, although of course I am here warm, without bombs, with my friends and without fear. If you get out alive, please don’t be like those who put you through this because then you will do to other children what they did to you. I don’t think you want that? A big hug and lots of courage.
